A. Information You Voluntarily Provide (Traditional Account Registration):

• Correspondence through contact forms, such as requesting materials and reporting problems.
• Data you enter when using the "Smart Assistant".
• Research Tool Data: When you use tools like the "Bibliography Manager", we store the data you input (such as citation data) in your own private collection within your personal account (Registered Users only).
• Files for Processing: When you use services like "CSV to Excel Converter", we process the file you upload on our servers temporarily and automatically delete it after the conversion is complete.

B. Google OAuth Authentication Data (Google User Data):

When you choose to sign in or link your account on the Platform using Google, we access and process the following types of Google user data, and we adhere to the following restrictions on its use:

• Usage data ( device and browser type, pages visited, visit time).
• Cookies and local storage means to improve your experience and remember your preferences.
• Anonymous Statistics: We collect aggregated, anonymous statistics, such as the download count for a resource in the "Resources Library".

2. How We Use Data

We use your lawfully collected data for the following purposes only:

• Operating and managing the platform and providing content and services.
• Responding to inquiries and providing technical support.
• Improving performance and analyzing usage to develop new features.
• Sending notifications (after obtaining your prior consent).
• Sending "Smart Assistant" inputs to external providers for processing and response.
• Providing personalized academic tools (like saving citations in your "Bibliography Manager" or converting data files).
• Calculating aggregated, anonymous statistics (such as download counts in the "Resources Library" or usage of "Statistical Calculators").
• **For Google Data:** See Section (1-B) above which restricts our use of the email and name solely for authentication and account personalization purposes.

3. Data Sharing and Legal Disclosure

We do not sell your data to any party. However, we may share data with:

• **Service Providers** for the purpose of operating the platform, such as:
  • Google Firebase – for authentication, storage, and notifications (see: Google Privacy Policy).
  • Netlify – for website hosting (see: Netlify Privacy Policy).
  • Formspree – for sending contact forms (see: Formspree Privacy Policy).
  • AI Provider – for processing questions and answers (with reference to the fact that questions may be processed by OpenAI or others with assurance that they are not stored for training purposes).
• **Legal Compliance:** If required by law or by order of a competent government authority, with reference that we will notify you unless prohibited by law.
• **Mergers and Acquisitions:** In the event of a merger or acquisition of our platform, we may transfer your data to the other party while ensuring continued protection of your data according to this policy.

• The right to request deletion of your data (including any citations you have saved in your "Bibliography Manager", which you can also delete directly from your bibliography page).

7. Data Retention

We will keep your data during the college study period only in order to achieve the purposes mentioned in this policy.

User-Generated Data: Data you voluntarily create and save (such as citations in the "Bibliography Manager") is retained in your account as long as your account is active, or until you choose to delete it.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes via email or with a clear notice within the platform.

Our Application primarily functions as an "enhanced web viewer" (WebView) for our online platform. This means that most of your experience within the Application is identical to your experience on our website and is subject to the same terms of this Privacy Policy. The purpose of the Application is to provide faster access and a smoother user experience on Android devices.

b. Permissions Requested by the Application:

The Application may request the following permissions from your device to enhance its functionality. We are committed to requesting only the minimum necessary permissions:

• **Internet Access:** An essential permission required to fetch content from our servers and display the platform.
• **Network State:** To check for an internet connection and display an appropriate message in case of disconnection.
• **Notifications:** If you consent to receive notifications, the Application will use this permission to alert you about new materials or important updates.

The Application does not independently collect any additional personal data from your device beyond what is mentioned in Section (1). However, to enable features like Push Notifications, we may share non-personal device identifiers (such as an FCM token) with Google Firebase services to ensure notifications are delivered to you.

We strive to ensure the security of the Application. In the event a security vulnerability is discovered, we may release an update to the Application. You agree that the responsibility for updating the Application to the latest version lies with you to ensure the protection of your data and to benefit from the latest improvements.

e. Interaction with Device Functions:

The Application may interact with basic device functions at your request, such as opening an external browser when you click on links to other websites, or using your device's download manager when downloading files. This interaction only occurs at your initiative.

Due to our use of service providers outside the Country, your data may be transferred to other countries. We ensure that this transfer is done according to appropriate protection standards and in compliance with local regulations.
